Ford trucks come from the factory with plenty of badging, which means an aftermarket badge does not look out of place, it looks like the next logical trim level. Put their name, their build name, their business name or their favorite phrase on the tailgate and it reads like something Ford could have offered.

Placement by model. The F-150 has a wide tailgate and flat fender panels that take a badge cleanly. The Ranger and Maverick are more compact, so a shorter word or a smaller size keeps the proportions right. The Bronco has boxy fender panels and a tailgate that were practically designed for a name badge. The Super Duty gives you the most room of all, which is where longer phrases and business names work best.

Finishes that match the build. Mirror chrome looks right on a bright or dark painted truck, matte black is the default for blacked out packages with black wheels and black hardware, and gold makes the truck look expensive. Wrapped truck? Acrylic badge colors match common vinyl shades instead.

Five minute install, no drilling. Automotive grade 3M adhesive bonds to the factory clearcoat and holds through weather, wash cycles and highway speed. Clean, peel, line up, press for 30 seconds, and let it fully cure over 24 hours. If they trade trucks often, the badge still lifts off cleanly later with heat and adhesive remover.

Order timing. Every badge is made to order. Production takes 3-5 business days and transit is on top of that, so give yourself around two weeks of buffer before the date you need it.
