  • Isopropyl alcohol (70% or higher)
  • A clean microfiber cloth
  • Painter's tape (optional, for alignment)
  • A warm day or a heat gun (cold weather only)

Step-by-Step Installation

Step 1: Clean the Surface. Use isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth to clean the area where you'll place the badge. Remove all wax, polish, and debris. This is the most important step, adhesion depends on a clean surface.

Step 2: Plan Your Placement. Hold the badge up without removing the adhesive backing. Step back and check alignment. Use painter's tape to mark reference lines if you want perfect centering.

Step 3: Warm the Surface. If it's below 60°F (15°C), warm the area gently with a heat gun or park in the sun. 3M adhesive bonds best at room temperature or above.

Step 4: Peel and Place. Remove the adhesive backing, align the badge carefully, and press it firmly onto the surface. Apply even pressure across the entire badge for 60 seconds.

Step 5: Let It Cure. Avoid washing the car or driving in rain for 24 hours. The adhesive reaches full strength after 72 hours.
